                                                                David M

David Manners has a life long passion for, and involvement with choral music.

Born and raised in the West of England, he first sang in his organist father's parish choir in Weston-super-Mare before becoming a chorister in the choir of Bristol Cathedral.

Whilst reading for a degree in music at Liverpool University, David sang in the choir of the Metropolitan Cathedral and conducted the University Singers. He also founded a university chamber choir, the Consort of Voices.

Since university, David has combined choral singing and conducting with teaching and workshopping

He has been a tenor lay clerk in the choir of St Georges Chapel, Windsor Castle since 2000 alongside which he runs a private teaching practice.

He  is also  Chorus Director of Slough Philharmonic Chorus, and an assistant member of staff at Taplow Youth Choir

We are delighted to be working with David who leads our choir with great energy purpose and passion, ensuring we sing at our very best every Wednesday evening
